Change Agent

Sometimes we may say that we want to help make a change in our communities or on a larger scale, but when the time comes to help, we’re too busy to show up. If we happen to show up, we may have an attitude, appear irritated or show impatience as we await the clock to tell us we’re done. In any instance, we can’t have it both ways. We can't have aspirations to serve others but then complain or make excuses as to why we can’t participate when the time comes. Are you able to share some of your time for a good cause? Are you able to support and participate in causes that you hold in high regard? How often do you help others? Do you have to be asked multiple times as feeling obligated or guilty leads you to help? These are things that we need to think about the next time we begin to say how busy we are as an excuse not to serve? We all have some time to spare as every minute helps, and if you want to help, why don’t you help? If we all do a little, we can accomplish a lot.
